This was shot in the highest setting for the HMC40, which is PH1080/60i. The first clip is regular speed and the second with no sound is at 50% speed. It was lightly raining, foggy, and roughly 6:45pm on it’s way to getting dark.
*This is my very first film!* Story: This short film is about an outcast and an outsider who meet during the night, keeping under the shadows. They make an exchange of highly classified intel that has been kept away from the government for a long time. The deal was set that the outsider would make the transaction of the intel to a dealer who is code named “Boss” in a remote location out in the mountains. However, unwanted eyes watch the meeting and track the location of the intel. This leads to a chase that can only end badly… *This film was shot, directed and edited by Patrick Pfeiffer.* Shooting and Editing the Film: This film was shot mostly on the streets and woods of northern state New York. It took about three months of on and off shooting, editing, and creating the custom sound track. In total, about 90 hours was spent in completing the final product. I hoped the work payed off and you enjoy it! I had a small team of actors and a tiny film crew to shoot the film. I used my Canon Vixia HF S100, along with some other additions, including a canon wide angle lens (Model WD H58), some filters, and other audio equipment. I used Final cut express 4.0.1, imovie 09, livetype, sugarfx, and Garageband.
